Prayers for children at an early age – Quoted from news.detik.com Prayer is a request from a servant addressed to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala
According to the KBBI Prayer ( الاء ) is a supplication (hope, request, praise) to God. Prayer is also worship, as the Prophet said sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.
Narrated by At Tirmidhi no 2969, Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
الاءُ الْعِبَادَةِ
Meaning: “prayer is the essence of worship”
God Subhanahu wa ta’ala ordered to always pray this according to the word of God in the QS Al-Mu’min: 60
الَ ادْعُوْنِيْٓ اَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ادَتِيْ لُوْنَ اخِرِيْنَ
And your Lord said: “Pray to Me, I will surely allow you. Verily, those who pride themselves on worshiping Me will enter Hell in a state of humiliation.”
Prayer has many benefits, we will get forgiveness of sins, given peace of mind, and of course will be closer to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala.
