Car Cooling System (Cooling System) is part of the car system that functions to regulate and maintain the temperature of the car so that the engine remains stable. The following are the components of a car cooling system and their functions.
Radiator
The radiator is an important component in the car’s cooling system. The radiator functions to cool the water temperature after absorbing the heat from the car engine.
Radiator Fluid (Coolant)
Coolant is a coolant which is a component of the main car cooling system that is able to dissipate heat in the engine.
thermostat
The function of the thermostat is to work automatically to regulate the circulation of cooling water from the engine to the radiator, or vice versa.
Radiator Hose
Radiator Hose serves to connect the engine and radiator with the aim that the water can be circulated and cooled better.
Bypass Hose
Just like the radiator hose, the bypass hose also functions to drain water from the engine and back into the engine again. However, the bypass hole flow does not pass through the radiator because this component works when the engine is still cold.
Water Pump
The water pump functions to pump cooling water from the engine so that water can circulate in all cooling channels, namely the radiator, engine, until the water returns to the radiator again.
Water Pipe
The water pipe functions to drain the cooling water from the thermostat, radiator, and bypass hose components. The water pipe is usually installed on the water pump.
Fan Strap (Belt)
The fan belt is made of elastic rubber material which functions as a liaison between the radiator pulley and the engine pulley.
Radiator Fan Motor
The cooling system component of this car is an electric motor that is paired with a radiator fan. This component is only found in cars with an injection system.
Radiator Fan
The radiator fan functions as a fan to cool the water in the radiator. This component can be mounted on the radiator motor or with the pulley.
